Here are some scans from my sketchbook. Some watercolours from the trip to the southwest of England and a couple from the Swiss adventure.

This is at Cape Cornwall.

Sennet Cove, where we stopped for fish and chips. The black building in the middle was round with a stone roof and was where the fishermen used to dry their nets. There's a little gallery inside which was boiling hot, perfect for drying things out!

Woolacombe, rockpooling as usual!
We also had trips to St. Ives, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle.

Then, via various methods of transport - Switzerland!

After a very short walk we stopped for a rest in this shady spot before walking up to the waterfall.

Our fantastic bbq picnic spot - not a bad view eh?

This was after our wonderful lunch in Tirano. All the courtyards were open to the public and had various contemporary art exhibitions in. This courtyard was wonderful.

Off on another trip tomorrow - time for a new sketchbook. Bye for now.

Bad back + bad weather = craft time

This act of crafting was inspired by Lucy Sparrow's 'The Cornershop' in my old neighbourhood of Bethnal Green. What a great idea! To make a whole cornershop full of items made from felt. If you're in that neck of the woods it's on until the end of August.

It is off to its new owner; my amazing friend Adam. (shh... I might just make him a tin of beans to go with it!)

Here are a couple of shots from the crafting afternoon. Oh, it was fab and we had a huge bring a plate lunch before hand too! Hours of fun.

There were all sorts of things made with everyone getting involved. So one thing I've realised is that I need to get my materials organised in a much better way. I still haven't unpacked my bags from Wednesday!

Oh and I've also knitted a couple of squares for this project and will be sending them off soon.

Next, I'm going to knit for this charity SANDS I've had several friends who have been helped by this charity and it's a really worthwhile cause.

Oh, and I hurt my back after an over enthusiastic yoga pose so, no mega updates and a trip to the osteopath this afternoon!

It's been ages.

Some monsters little sister and I made on a stormy day when she came to visit. So much fun.

Here's a little sneaky peek at what just came through the post this morning from the fab shop Little Sew it All

Tons of things to upload please be patient! Crafting with some of my favourite people in Barcelona tomorrow. Love it.
